The ISBM was an early Second Life project of mine. The missile could be launched from any location in the grid, and reach any other where it has line-of-sight.
The ISBM would launch straight up, go into an arch, travel the main distance at a set altitude, and then would arch down toward the end and drop straight onto its target within a meter or two. It included sounds and particle effects, and also allowed anyone to "ride" it, using it as a form of quick transportation.
In addition, I created a control console that would let you select a location on the map to launch it at. This allowed us to place a control console in a war room, and plot global domination.
Unfortunately, the explosion is only an effect; it caused no actual damage, and our plans for global domination were ultimately cancelled.
